About the Role
Crunchtime is seeking a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer/SDET to join our Labor management team. With the growing complexity of keeping restaurants properly staffed, reliable labor management tools and reports are crucial. Our Ops Management solution provides critical insights to manage labor and reduce staffing costs while adhering to State and Federal Labor Laws.
The ideal candidate will work with product development teams to improve automation coverage of our Labor products, reducing time to market and enabling quick releases of new features. Collaboration with remote teams internationally and in the domestic U.S. is expected.
Duties as a Senior QA Engineer/SDET
- Participate in feature implementation from start to finish: research, requirements review, test case authoring, execution, automation, and regression testing cycles.
- Actively suggest and implement automation infrastructure improvements.
- Mentor Quality Assurance Engineers with varying levels of automation experience through code reviews, peer programming sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Develop front-end automation scripts in Java, Selenium, Appium, and devise test strategies that assess all software aspects investigating and recreating reported defects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation in a CI/CD pipelined environment.
- Hands-on coding experience, ideally in Java, with fluency in SQL, ideally in Oracle or MySQL.
- Proven record of building complex automation solutions using Selenium, Appium, and API-specific automation frameworks like RestAssured or Karate, as well as API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
