Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the District Sales Executive (DSE) is to drive outcomes that are in line with the broader organizational objectives and strategic vision. A proactive approach, combined with a competitive spirit and the capacity to maintain focus on results amidst fluctuating circumstances, is essential for fulfilling the performance expectations of the District Sales Executive position at Expeditors. The DSE coordinates the engagement of various stakeholders in our sales framework, ensuring consistent acquisition of new customer revenue for our district office and the Expeditors network. The work environment is dynamic, ever-evolving, and offers opportunities for personal growth, acknowledgment, and rewards for achieving business outcomes. This role reports directly to the District Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities
The following are the essential results anticipated from a successful District Sales Executive:

• Oversee a designated territory while exhibiting comprehensive knowledge of potential clients and competitors in the region.

• Ensure timely data entry into our Customer Relationship Management system.

• Facilitate customer and branch relationships, collaborating with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management teams.

• Engage in developing value-added solutions for clients' logistics requirements, including supporting diagrams and cost-benefit analyses.

• Assist in the onboarding of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary documentation.
When required, provide support for accounts receivable collection.

• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance sales skills and update knowledge of Expeditors' products and services.

• Engage with local trade associations as directed by the District Sales Manager.

• Undertake additional tasks as necessary to support organizational needs.
