About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Customer Support Specialist to join our team at Uber Freight. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of transportation functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer and carrier relationships to ensure timely and accurate communication
  • Schedule appointments with shippers and receivers, update the Transportation Management System (TMS) as needed, and collaborate with Logistics Specialists
  • Communicate service issues to customers and the team, and identify and update status on missed pick-ups or deliveries
  • Monitor and troubleshoot problems to ensure on-time service, and proactively notify shippers and receivers of load status and reschedule appointments as necessary
  • Update load status in the system and utilize the TMS to actively manage on-time performance and automation objectives

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of related experience and/or customer service experience
  • Advanced written, oral, and presentation communication skills in English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the freight industry and experience in a customer or carrier support role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLookup, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas
