Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including staffing plans and cost estimation.
  • Remove impediments faced by project team members using agile methodology tools where applicable.
  • Manage test planning, communication, metrics, and status reporting, identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
  • Obtain approval for deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
  • Promote automation testing and develop test scripts aligned with our Test Automation strategy.
  • Drive the development of automation test scripts using existing frameworks.
  • Perform requirements analysis, author functional test cases, and execute test cases while understanding testable software requirements.
  • Lead and manage direct reports, providing coaching and guidance as needed.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in functional testing, creating test plans, test cases, and test data strategies.
  • 4+ years of experience in agile project delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
  • 4+ years of experience with project and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with at least one test automation framework (e.g., ADAPT, Robot, SpecFlow) and UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Cypress, Tosca).
  • Experience in the financial services industry (e.g., insurance, banking).
