We are seeking a skilled Mixology Expert to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a Bartender. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to our guests, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve drinks according to specified recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including the bar, tables, and storage areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, and thanking them for their business.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Count and reconcile cash and credit transactions at the end of each shift.
- Secure and maintain the integrity of the bar area, including liquor, beer, wine, and other beverages.
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and security.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a related role preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
