Your Role...
As the FP&A Manager for Streaming Technology, you will oversee a specialized team responsible for the financial planning, reporting, and analysis of operating and capital expenditures related to our global Streaming Technology and Product initiatives. Your work will directly impact the development and maintenance of our Direct-to-Consumer platforms, which are crucial for our organization's growth.
Your primary focus will be to deliver timely and accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis, empowering finance and budget stakeholders to make informed strategic decisions that contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities...
- Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 financial analysts,
- Facilitate the transition of financial activities into the Center of Excellence FP&A framework,
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of streaming technology and product-related non-personnel costs (e.g., Cloud services, Content Delivery Networks, Platform Engineering, Product & Design),
- Manage the allocation of expenses across different segments of the organization,
- Establish and maintain cost KPIs and benchmarking analyses for regular review by business units,
- Implement standardized FP&A processes within the streaming technology cost domain, ensuring operational efficiency (month-end close, forecasting, budgeting),
- Provide high-quality financial insights and information to business partners and finance leadership regarding managed costs (both Opex and Capex),
- Collaborate proactively with Business Partners on special projects related to streaming technology costs (system implementations, process design, reporting development, cloud modeling),
- Support the month-end close process from an FP&A perspective, focusing on variance analysis for streaming technology and product-related non-personnel Opex and Capex costs,
- Summarize key findings to aid discussions and decision-making with stakeholders,
- Monitor actual expenditures against budget and prior year, providing commentary on significant variances,
- Drive enhancements in reporting systems for improved accuracy and timeliness,
- Lead transformation initiatives related to FP&A for Streaming Technology and Product (e.g., ERP and EPM systems implementation and process redesign).
Qualifications & Experience...
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in FP&A,
- Experience in a technology finance environment is advantageous (e.g., finance roles in software companies),
- Proven track record in financial control, management reporting, and business analysis, preferably in an international context,
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building,
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies,
- Experience in project management, change management, and process improvement,
- Familiarity with EPM solutions for planning and reporting (e.g., SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive),
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
- A collaborative team player with a business-oriented mindset,
- Strong analytical capabilities,
- Proactive and hands-on approach,
- High energy and drive,
- Fluent in English.
