Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Almare Luxury Collection Isla Mujeres Adult All-Inclusive in Isla Mujeres, Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Respond to guest requests for repair and maintenance services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clean and maintain tools and equipment, as well as perform basic housekeeping duties.
  • Conduct daily inspections of hotel facilities to identify and report any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting preferred.
  • Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
