Job Title: Database Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual to administer and manage our databases, ensuring data security, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database engines, scripting, and SQL language.

Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and manage databases
  • Support the development team, computer security, and networks
  • Develop user audits (Roles, Profiles, and Privileges)
  • Manage change and update management
  • Ensure database security, including backups and disaster recovery
  • Develop databases tuning tasks, both in SQL queries and in server configuration
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of hands-on IT experience in a technical-helpdesk role
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience with at least one infrastructure technology (e.g., UNIX or Windows)
  • Solid knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Power Query highly desirable)
  • Desirable advanced level of English
  • Technical English required
  • Highly motivated, driven, and willing to work independently while receiving instruction through supervision in a highly regulated environment
