Job Title: Value Stream Leader

Eaton's FFD Fluid Filtration Division is seeking a skilled Value Stream Leader to lead buying and planning responsibilities for assigned value stream products at the Reynosa Filtration plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate all buying and planning responsibilities within assigned value stream
  • Provide coaching and support to value stream buyers/planners and act as primary escalation point
  • Maintain critical system parameters, safeguarding ERP health and supporting efficiency of value supply chain planning processes
  • Manage inventory and service levels required to support value stream materials strategy and organization objectives
  • Define and maintain value stream lead times and act as primary liaison between plant and sales/customer support
  • Generate and publish value stream materials reporting and scorecards and manage performance gaps to closure
  • Accountable for ongoing supplier performance/management and ensure supplier compliance to ongoing requirements
  • Manage inbound freight with suppliers in compliance with FILT freight policy and minimizing total landed cost
  • Provide support for sourcing, cost-out, and CI projects to division supply chain leaders
  • Represent materials/supply chain on all fabrication/EPC and NPD projects, owning all purchasing and materials supporting activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in operations or supply chain management
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial setting; prior plant experience a must
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Minitab (or other statistical software equivalent)
  • Ability to mine data to draw meaningful conclusions and guidance for management decision-making
  • Collaborative, team-oriented attitude geared towards supporting Eaton's 'The Power of One' culture
  • Communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with the ability to make necessary status updates and report-outs to plant and division management
  • Demonstrating effectiveness in teamwork; ability to work in and with teams of varying functions and cultures
