We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our engineering team in Mexico City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, motivating, and coaching a diverse team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities- Build and manage a high-performing engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure team members are equipped to succeed.
- Prioritize and plan projects and features, managing partners and tracking external commitments to ensure timely delivery.
- Drive continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of our software, maintaining an extremely high bar on customer trust, performance, and availability.
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to define and execute the team's charter.
- Provide input into quarterly and yearly planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers.
- Advanced writing and spoken English proficiency.
