About the Role
As a key member of our team at Carrier, you will play a critical role in driving our procurement strategy forward. We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team, responsible for executing contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and Contract Management: Participate in negotiations for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies, and execute purchasing and/or other commodity management activities.
- Supplier Management: Analyze supplier data and price proposals to ensure acceptable pricing, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
- Market Research: Research suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
- Database Management: Research and consolidate buyer/market profiles to ensure database is administered and kept up to date.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Skills: Negotiation, communication, information analysis skills, advanced English, SAP, Excel, Power BI.
