Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Lead Auditor to join our team at LRQA in Mexico. As an Automotive Lead Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments to ensure the highest technical standards of design, manufacture, construction, maintenance, operation, and performance on a range of projects in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with our customers to ensure long-term business growth and satisfaction.
- Plan and carry out assessments to meet agreed service delivery expectations and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Take responsibility for personal development, balancing work, safety, and life priorities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to provide valued-added support and ensure that our assessment services meet all accreditation requirements.
- Lead assessment teams effectively, ensuring that the visit is completed within the agreed timescales and coordinating team findings to reach conclusions.
- Produce high-quality assessment reports reflecting business assurance principles in compliance with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
- Ensure that all internal client stakeholders are kept informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Have sufficient broad knowledge of business and industry products and services to be able to discuss additional services with clients and promote additional or higher-value services.
- Pass opportunities and sales leads to appropriate colleagues to progress and pass client feedback and insights to appropriate internal recipients.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) with experience in IATF, AIAG core tools, and automotive OEM customer-specific requirements.
- Preparedness to travel when necessary to visit locations abroad.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
