About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the facilities operations team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and overall operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Strategic Plans

Work cross-functionally to develop and implement a strategic facilities road-map and annual operating plan that provides a competitive advantage to Mondelēz. Partner with internal & external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.

Lead Facilities Maintenance Program

Lead and be accountable for the Building Maintenance program, ensuring that Facilities maintenance program capabilities, including maintenance repairs & overall operations, are in place. Ensure adherence to business continuity plans, manufacturing standards, and government regulations are understood by all employees and service providers at the site, regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.

Implement Lean 6 Sigma Practices

Provide leadership and coaching to the Facilities team towards the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 Sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, CBM (Condition Based Monitoring), Visual controls & tools management, Lubrication management & Calibration of equipment, etc.

Develop People Succession Plan

Role model values and principles through effective coaching and mentoring, building skills capability across the Plant technical/engineering team to engage with the latest modern practices. Develop a clear people succession and resource plan for the asset & technology population, identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain, and develop essential talent.

Interface with Stakeholders

Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, aligning priorities to deliver the company objectives and goals.

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled professional with a strong background in operational and manufacturing leadership. You will have experience in TPM-Total Productive Maintenance, 5S, LEAN, 6 Sigma tools and concepts, Safety & GMP standards. An engineering background with strong financial & business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, PM (Progressive Maintenance) expertise, Spare parts management, and SAP PM module end-user knowledge, along with technology & engineering automation basics.

You will also have excellent communication (verbal & written), coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment. Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem-solving, and team building.
