**Job Summary**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to support the monthly closing process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and perform various accounting tasks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Perform and support the monthly closing process for suppliers activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations every month for different balance accounts, mainly liability accounts, and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
3. Provide daily support to suppliers on payment-related queries, invoice uploads, and other related matters.
4. Register accruals for month-end close with the support of received services.
5. Manage and code invoices received for all site functions.
6. Review vendor updates or creations for services required for the site.
7. Prepare Intercompany Transactions reports for AP accounts.
8. Prepare information for RSD at end-month close and annually.
9. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.
10. Maintain a teamwork atmosphere and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFSS goals.
11. Collaborate with Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for sites and activities under scope.
12. Perform other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.
13. Maintain a safe, clean working environment in compliance with Eaton's safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. 1 year of experience in finance in a multinational company.
3. Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential.
4. Sound understanding of Tax regulation.
5. Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements.
6. Knowledge of data processing in respect of financial systems and multiple ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP.
7. Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word) required.
8. Communication skills and team work capability.
9. Ability to operate and deliver independently without day-to-day supervision.
