About the Role:

MMC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Autonomous Finance team in Mexico City. As a key member of our Corporate Information Solutions (CIS) division, you will play a crucial role in transforming legacy processes by deploying advanced AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, test, and deploy scalable data models and machine learning frameworks to revolutionize business operations.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to convert complex requirements into innovative tech solutions.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated cloud-based data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize data pipelines and manage large-scale data processing with tools like Apache Spark, Databricks, and Apache Kafka.
  • Execute ETL processes, uphold architectural best practices, and ensure data security and compliance.
  • Work closely with business units to refine data collection, integration, and retention strategies.
  • Advance data reliability and system efficiency to boost capabilities and performance.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with robust experience in major cloud services (AWS, Azure).
  • Expertise in real-time data processing tools (Apache Kafka) and big data technologies (Apache Spark, Databricks).
  • Competence in orchestration frameworks such as (Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect).
  • A solid grasp of machine learning libraries and tools.
  • Proven teamwork skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level).
