Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Real Estate Manager to join our team at Autozone. As a key member of our real estate development team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new sites to support our business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and secure high-quality deals with landlords, developers, and shopping centers to meet our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Design & Construction, and Research & Operations to optimize deal development and implementation.
  • Analyze market trends, site characteristics, and financial data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Travel to trade areas to negotiate and finalize real estate transactions, ensuring Autozone's interests are protected.
  • Investigate and analyze research data to confirm trade areas, sales volume projections, competition, and physical barriers.
  • Review due diligence reports and supporting information to determine the suitability and viability of specific locations.
  • Compile and communicate risk assessments to the Senior Real Estate Development Manager.
  • Partner with Legal, Construction, Finance, and Pre-Construction to validate purchase/sale, ground lease, and existing space contract documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Law, or Financial.
  • Five to seven years of experience in retail real estate, site location, and management.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead teams.
  • General knowledge of computers and math skills.
