Overview
We are PepsiCo, a leading food and beverage company with a presence in over 200 countries. We are seeking a talented R&D Region Engineering Manager to join our team in Mexico and Latin America. As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for leading the scale-up and commissioning of new product initiatives, mold designing, and deploying commissioning processes for classical new products in the LatAm Region. You will also support innovation and productivity agendas in the region, providing key inputs to evaluate technical feasibility, investment requirements, and budget management. Additionally, you will define and participate in the selection and purchasing of new equipment for innovation, upgrade, or line replacement, ensuring compliance with process and product specifications. Your expertise in mold designing, process optimization, and quality will be essential in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

As a R&D Biscuits and Grains Technology expert, you will provide technical support for quality, capex integration, product relocation, and process optimization across LatAm Operations and HBU. You will also be responsible for researching updated processes and technologies in the market, establishing communication with vendors to provide technical solutions to achieve differentiated product innovation. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scale-up and commissioning stage for new product initiatives, according to the Annual Strategic Plan in Mexico & LATAM for the following technologies and platforms: Wire Cut & Rotary Classic Platform.
  • Mold Designing across biscuits technologies.
  • Lead and deploy the commissioning process for Classical new products in the LatAm Region and its alignment with the TSG to guarantee successful innovations as well as consistent and replicable processes in Plants.
  • Support Innovation and Productivity agendas in LatAm Region providing key inputs to evaluate the technical feasibility, investment requirements, budget management, to market timing and any potential manufacturing risks since Mold Designing POV.
  • Define (Center Lines) and participate in the selection and purchasing of new equipment for Innovation, upgrade or line replacement verifying those new capabilities complies with process and product specifications.
  • Coordinate and ensure the compliance of all the process and technology documentation that must be delivered and loaded in the SAP/PLM and Accolade systems.
  • Delineating training plans to promote and provide technical and management skills for collaborators development.
  • Research updated processes and technologies in the market for mold designing, establishing communication with vendors to provide technical solutions to achieve differentiated product innovation.
  • As a R&D Biscuits and Grains Technology expert, provides technical support for quality, capex integration, product relocation and process optimization across LatAm Operations and HBU.

Qualifications:

Who Are We Looking For?
Education:
Bachelor or Engineering focused on Food Sciences / Bio / Chemistry / Mechanical.
Experience Personal Profile: Teamwork, analytical thinking, decision taking, innovative and creative, proactive, affinity to scientific ideas, flexible, and adaptable.
Language skills: Fluent Spanish and English.
Travel and Relocation: Willing to travel / Relocation availability is desirable.
