We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Operations Controller at Metso Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the DeGeer Factory project and acting as the Operations Controller for the new factory.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and implement detailed financial plans, including cash-flow projections, budgeting, and cost control, in close collaboration with project management.

Financial Systems and Tools

Design and implement financial concepts, systems, and tools, including SAP and Product Costing, to ensure accurate reporting of factory operations.

Finance Partner to Factory Management

Act as a finance partner to factory management, driving quality and efficiency in operations, and working closely with key stakeholders.

Manufacturing Operations Analysis

Analyze the accuracy and process quality of manufacturing operations, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations.

Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis

Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support business decisions.

Capital Investment and Budgeting

Support capital investment applications and monitor actual spend versus approved budget.

Financial and Operative Reporting

Prepare and ensure timely and accurate financial and operative reporting, in accordance with company standards.

Financial Compliance and Master Data

Ensure timely actuals reporting, including variance analysis, and financial compliance in the factory, as well as manage controlling-related master data according to global standards.

Performance Monitoring and Improvement

Monitor financial and operative performance against plan, prepare variance analysis, and propose improvements to cost effectiveness.

Product Costing and Inventory Management

Monitor changes in product costing and provide analysis on impacts to rolling estimates, as well as control production work-in-progress and ensure accuracy of inventory transactions.
