About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Vice President to lead our Strategic Analytics Unit C13. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and validating methods of measuring and analyzing risk across various risk types, including market, credit, and operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced analytics and reporting to manage risk for Citi's operations
  • Translate business requirements into programming and data criteria, and conduct systems and operational research to model expected results
  • Assist in the development of analytic engines for business product lines
  • Communicate complex results to diverse audiences, including senior management and supervisory authorities
  • Conduct analysis and package it into detailed technical documentation reports to meet regulatory guidelines and exceed industry standards
  • Participate in teams to solve business problems and identify strategic opportunities that yield measurable business results
  • Provide guidance to junior analysts and manage a team, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in a quantitative role in risk management at a financial institution, with experience in model development or validation
  • Practical experience using SAS or similar statistical coding software to build and test prediction models
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good knowledge and understanding of risk strategies and policies
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially a Master's degree
