About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our pre-sales leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and leading programs that enable teams of solutions architects to deliver the right guidance and technical content to support various workloads, including core foundational services such as compute, storage, networking, and databases, application services, and management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shaping technical solutions and growing the team
  • Leading specific customer engagement and interaction at the director and VP level
  • Developing and executing a customer outcome plan
  • Interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments within AWS, such as sales, support, and services teams, business development, marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Hiring, onboarding, training, and developing new solution architects
  • Building and coaching the team on the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions
  • Educating customers on the value proposition of AWS and participating in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Guiding and motivating the development of white papers, data sheets, and other high-value customer-facing guidance and best practices
  • Acting as a conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support
