Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Kohler Co. as a Talent and Culture Strategist. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing people initiatives that drive business results and improve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to drive cultural transformation and improve employee engagement.
  • Lead the HR team to provide strategic guidance and support to plant operations.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement HR metrics and analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to HR team members.
  • Build relationships with union leadership and employees to drive positive employee relations.
  • Support plant operations through headcount planning, workforce planning, and recruitment.
  • Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial/labor relations, or psychology.
  • Minimum five years' experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on business partnership, operational excellence, and culture transformation.
  • Experience in multiple core functions of HR, including manufacturing HR team leadership, labor relations, employee relations, compensation, recruiting, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and org effectiveness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Experience with cultural transformation and turnaround facilities.
  • Leadership experience, building effective teams.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic and tactical skills.
  • Consultative HR partnership.
  • Accountability, ownership, and ability to execute.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Data-driven, computer (HR tools and systems) savvy.
  • Experience with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual: Spanish & English required.
