About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and efficiency for our clients' projects as a QA Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the primary contact for client communication and planning related to QA activities
  • Leading local teams at our Guadalajara office
  • Managing team leadership to drive continuous quality and efficiency improvements
  • Mentoring team members and facilitating regular meetings
  • Participating in QA consultancy engagements
  • Designing and executing comprehensive test plans, strategies, cases, and scripts for multiple platforms (mobile, web, smart TV, game console) to guarantee exceptional product quality aligned with business objectives
  • Escalating quality-related issues and participating in governance activities
  • Taking ownership of QA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and driving relevant initiatives
  • Providing guidance for team growth and development
  • Training new employees on platform compliance, test automation, and planning
  • Defining and maintaining best Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE) procedures and standards
  • Covering aspects such as test planning, tool usage, and test automation
  • Conducting one-on-one meetings, setting goals, and performing performance reviews
  • Promoting Accedo's core values and acting accordingly

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a client-facing QA manager/lead for projects involving distributed teams
  • At least 2 years of QA leadership experience
  • Strong business acumen to understand organizational goals and align QA processes accordingly
  • In-depth knowledge of the Video/Streaming industry and relevant technologies
  • Hands-on experience and expertise in automated testing and familiarity with automation tools
  • Advanced English proficiency in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality-related issues
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with SDLC (Agile, Scrum) and various QA methodologies
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Self-motivation, responsibility, and empathy
  • Enjoyment in coaching and mentoring team members
  • A team player who collaborates effectively
  • QA consultancy experience would be highly beneficial

What We Offer:

We provide a competitive salary range between $120,000 - $180,000 annually, depending on location, plus benefits including health insurance and social security.
