Hardware Product Owner

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Product Owner to join our team at Aptiv. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of hardware projects, focusing on maximum re-use of the HW architecture in product design.
Key Responsibilities
- First point of contact for hardware-related issues and escalations
- Lead the creation and management of hardware achievement plans, coordinating with engineering project managers
- Drive hardware KPIs to meet factory MOS targets
- Represent hardware in cross-functional issues and meetings
- Ensure hardware design consistency with manufacturing Bill Of Process (BOP) and resolve deviations as needed
- Coordinate with purchasing team to ensure supplier selection meets hardware KPIs and agreed-upon risk
- Ensure project lessons learned are reviewed across CPO platform projects
- Monitor and guide on-time closure of design quality issues (PCRs, PORs, NPIs, customer) for verification, DV, PV; update/close VFNs
- Lead hardware response to PCEs
- Manage planview project milestones
- Maximize reuse of platform
- Lead MCIP-driven ideas to increase
Requirements
- Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree in Engineering
- Several years of professional experience in an international company, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry
- Cross-functional engineering experience, able to cover EE, ME, and validation topics, while interfacing with Systems, SW, manufacturing, purchasing, and the product line
- Over 5 years of team lead experience
- Strong focus on interpersonal skills - willingness to develop
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to solve problems - creativity
- Fluency in English
