Hotel Maintenance Technician Job Summary

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician at Marriott International, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel facilities. This includes responding to guest repair requests, communicating with guests to resolve maintenance issues, and performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment. You will also be responsible for maintaining maintenance inventory and requisitioning parts and supplies as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and attend to guest repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Display proficiency in various categories, including air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of hotel facilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
