Financial Planning Role

The finance team at Red Bull has a clear goal: maintaining financial balance. To achieve this, the team has experts in accounting, taxes, controlling, compliance, treasury, strategy, and merger & acquisitions.

This role is a business partner to various areas of the company, ensuring Controlling Guideline Compliance, distributing financial information, and guaranteeing the understanding and comprehension of all users to generate efficiency in controlling, accuracy, realistic planning, and commitment with budget owners, contributing to making the company more profitable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Month End Closing: Ensure the quality of information and Controlling Guideline Compliance, anticipate and analyze MEC figures with budget owners, share information with each budget owner, make presentations and reports of MEC, analyzing the variance of Plan vs Actual, and step ahead of any difference on MEC.
  • Reporting: Continues training to ensure the comprehension of financial information of each budget owner, prepares and distributes BI and Local reports according to the requirements of each budget owner, establishes routines to discuss the variance of Actual figures vs Plan, establishes Profitability reports, and discusses the information with different areas.
  • Planning & Forecast: Coordinate all areas during Plan Periods, including Business Plan, to guarantee the submission and quality of information in different business tools according to key priorities of the company and Controlling Guideline Compliance, continues training in Planning tools to budget owners, involves different budget owners in the planning process, assures the quality of planned figures, follows up on any findings or disagreements with budget owners, and assures the timing of planning.
  • Business Partner: Understand priorities of each Area to contribute with financial information that supports decision-making, control KPIs for each area, develop finance sensibility across the organization, bring solutions to all problems detected within budget owners, work jointly with commercial and marketing teams, propose and look for savings within budgets and efficiencies, avoid over-expending, and follow up on Controlling Guideline compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related areas.
  • At least 4 years' experience in Financial Planning in consumer goods companies.
  • Knowledge of integrated systems (ERPs, Planning Systems, Business Intelligence, etc.).
  • Excellent/Advanced Office Package Excel (mandatory), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Excellent finance sense, highly analytical, and skilled individual around profitability analysis.
  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze risks & impacts and define alternatives.
  • Teamwork, structured, and well-organized individual.
