About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commodity / Account Management & Strategic Sourcing professional to join our team at Carrier Global Corporation. As a Sourcing Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing sourcing goals and acceptable service levels, negotiating and administering contracts, and analyzing price proposals to enhance price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ECNs/ETOs/Variances/NPI on time, ensuring good communication with internal departments and with suppliers through the passport system.
- Create and maintain purchase contracts in SAP, ensuring their correct parameterization for the operation.
- Resolve problems with invoices stopped due to price discrepancies.
- Participate in engineering and Sch-B change feasibility analysis projects.
- Set negotiation terms for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
- Execute Supply Chain strategies.
- Establish sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Evaluate vendors' capability, quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
- Identify and conduct research on suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
Requirements:
- 2-4 Years of experience in the area.
- University Degree.
- Advanced English.
