Rumzer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Stewardship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in assessing the environmental impact and sustainability of products throughout their life cycle.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze materials used in products and packaging to ensure conformance to global regulations such as EU REACH, PFAS, TSCA, RoHS, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct life cycle assessments (LCAs) for manufacturers producing complex, engineered assemblies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product design and minimize environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop reports and recommendations based on regulatory assessments and LCA findings, providing actionable insights for product development and improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in life cycle analysis methodologies, and apply this knowledge to drive sustainability initiatives within the organization.
**Requirements:**
- Undergraduate degree in mechanical, electrical, or other relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably in electrical equipment or medical devices.
- Exposure to LCA software tools and data analysis, or a strong desire to learn and apply this expertise.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in new product development/design is preferred, and candidates with openLCA experience are encouraged to apply.
