Your Role
Embrace a new opportunity and leverage your extensive Mechanical Engineering knowledge in a pioneering sector. Collaborate with dedicated and supportive colleagues as you take charge of the calculation discipline, ensuring that all tasks and outputs align with quality, cost, and delivery commitments. On a daily basis, you will coordinate closely with various teams across the organization, including Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing, to plan and oversee Mechanical calculation activities and more.
Your Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee Mechanical calculation activities and associated deliverables for projects, ensuring adherence to applicable guidelines and specific customer requirements.
- Guarantee the quality of Mechanical calculation outputs and their acceptance by customers within agreed timelines.
- Utilize calculation methodologies, processes, and tools to uphold the quality of deliverables.
- Supervise Finite Element Analysis (FEA) engineers within the calculation discipline for projects.
- Develop FEA validation plans.
Candidate Profile
We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over extensive experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, we have identified several that will contribute to your success and growth in this position:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Railway products, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience or understanding of managing calculation disciplines with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
- Proficiency in CATIA.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Operational proficiency in English for reading, writing, and technical discussions.
