About Your Role

In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including the receipt of finished goods from manufacturing and external vendors, and the coordination of picking, skidding, and labeling of customer orders in a timely manner.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Coordinating all outgoing freight to ensure conformance to loading patterns, preventing shifting or damage to materials or products during transit, and auditing to ensure conformance with labeling requirements and accuracy of order shipment.
  • Auditing to ensure compliance with special customer requests, including special instructions such as routing, packing, and labeling.
  • Recommending measures to improve shipping and receiving methods, equipment performance, and quality of process, as well as suggesting changes in working conditions and/or equipment use to increase efficiency of the team.
  • Posting warehouse daily audit metrics along with corrective actions to avoid repetitive issues.
  • Spending a minimum of 70% of working time engaged in coordinating and auditing, and 30% in picking and labeling.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a warehousing, stockroom, or closely related role required.
  • Proven skills in warehousing, inventory, and shipping/receiving.
  • Proven communication and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in data entry required, and other computer skills a plus.
