Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Cisco Systems as a Wireless Consulting Engineer. You will be part of our Professional Services organization, which plays a critical role in helping customers succeed with our products and solutions.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan, design, implement, and optimize Cisco Wireless LAN edge environments.
- Drive consulting services and technical support.
- Develop and deliver deliverables that focus on business priorities.
- Lead team members through delivery projects.
- Build trusted relationships with high-profile customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering; or 5+ years of significant experience in the IT industry.
- Customer-facing experience (5 years minimum).
- Experience in planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing Wireless LAN solutions.
- Deep technical proficiency (5 years minimum) in Wireless LAN technology with validated expertise in two or more of the following areas: Catalyst 9800 Wireless LAN Controllers or AireOS Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco Catalyst Center or Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Spaces or Cisco Connected Mobile Experiences (CMX), Software-Defined Access (SDA) wired or wireless, Meraki Solutions.
- Radio-Frequency understanding and tuning.
- Time management, organization, communication, and presentation skills in English.
