About the Role

The Process Improvement Manager will be responsible for analyzing current manufacturing processes and identifying areas of waste, inefficiency, and non-value-added activities. They will design and develop new manufacturing processes that minimize waste, reduce lead times, and improve product quality using Lean Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, and Value Stream Mapping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement new manufacturing processes that meet business needs
  • Develop and sustain Standard Work Guidelines and Visual Management tools to maintain process control, quality, and safety
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of new processes
  • Train and mentor manufacturing teams on Lean manufacturing principles and techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Minitab
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus
