About the Role

Mam De La Frontera, S.A. De C.V. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Supervisor to lead our IT operations in the US and Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily IT operations, security, and system administration of our on-premises and Cloud IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Operations Management: Manage daily IT operations, security, and system administration of the on-premises and Cloud IT infrastructure in the US and Mexico, ensuring secure and smooth functioning of systems, databases, and networks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of IT employees and contractors, including conducting regular meetings to ensure alignment with goals and objectives.
  • Infrastructure Management: Implement and maintain operations and security procedures, processes, and tools to enhance security and increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain high levels of security, infrastructure functionality, reliability, availability, performance, regulatory compliance, and IT disaster recovery.
  • Cybersecurity Education: Contribute to the development and implementation of cybersecurity education.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze performance metrics and SLAs to meet business and customer needs.
  • Vendor Management: Manage technology vendors and service providers, establishing clear service level agreements and expectations.
  • Service Desk Operations: Oversee service desk operations and help manage Mexico and US service desk teams.
  • Technology Roadmap: Contribute to the strategic direction, design, and delivery of the technology roadmap, encompassing operating systems, physical and virtual servers, storage, backups, data center infrastructure, and physical cabling.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Ensure comprehensive documentation and maintenance of infrastructure systems configuration and operating procedures.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and developments in IT operations management.
  • Employee Development: Assess candidates' qualifications and provide input into employee development and training plans for support teams in the US and Mexico to build talent and develop bench strength.
  • Budget Management: Manage the IT infrastructure and operations budget to align with financial goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of proven experience as IT Infrastructure Supervisor, with leadership responsibilities, including hiring, disciplining, coaching, rewarding, and terminating employees.
  • Cloud Experience: Experience managing Cloud services including security, provisioning, cost management, data redundancy, and system migration.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office 365 online mail exchange experience, thorough understanding of networks and cloud computing, experience in outsourcing and vendor management, proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, technical proficiency in IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems troubleshooting.
  • Language: English is required.
