Job Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and publishing Micron's monthly Operations (OP) plan in accordance with corporate strategies and priorities. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Becoming the primary interface between Manufacturing, Demand Management, Business Operations, Product Lifecycle, Engineering, and Operations Planning organization throughout each Operations Planning cycle;">
  • Translating manufacturing capability and roadmap into Sellable Supply that respects WoS targets and creating and publishing a feasible manufacturing plan that aligns to constrained demand;">
  • Working with all BU stakeholders and demand planners to summarize and communicate changes in the unconstrained consensus inputs, coordinating any modifications to the demand inputs needed to support scenario analysis, and ensuring the overall accuracy and alignment to strategic objectives of the constrained demand signal prior to final plan publication internally;">
  • SUPPORTING TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVES, PROCESS IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES, AND BUILDING AND DRIVING IMPROVEMENT TO OVERALL OP PROCESS EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS;">
  • DRIVING ALIGNMENT TOWARDS THE COMPANY'S FINANCIAL, MARKET, AND OPERATIONS STRATEGY WHICH IS RECOGNIZED BY ALL ORGANIZATIONS;">
  • PARTNERING WITH GLOBAL OPERATIONS AND STRATEGIC SUPPLY PLANNING TO DEVELOP FACTORY NETWORK AND LOADING STRATEGIES;">
  • COLLABORATING WITH GLOBAL OPERATIONS TO ANALYZE AND PUBLISH UPDATES INTERNALLY TO MANUFACTURING BOUNDARY CONDITIONS AND THEIR IMPACTS TO MICRON'S REVENUE PLAN;">
  • ROOT CAUSE GAPS BETWEEN SUPPLY CAPABILITY AND BOTTOMS UP SUPPLY/DEMAND MATCH;">
  • BUILDING, SOLVING, AND COMMUNICATING INTERNALLY IMPACTS OF VARIOUS WHAT-IF SCENARIOS FOR EXECUTIVE APPROVAL;">
  • COLLABORATING WITH FINANCE TO ANALYZE CONSOLIDATED REVENUE, MARGIN, AND CAPEX IMPACTS OF PLAN CHANGES;">
  • DRIVING IMPROVEMENT TO PROCESS EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY METRICS;">
  • COLLABORATING WITH GSM, MANUFACTURING, R&D, PRODUCT ENGINEERING TEAMS TO COLLECT AND ANALYZE IMPACT OF YIELD, QUALITY, TECHNOLOGY ADJUSTMENTS, AND ROADMAP CHANGES;">
  • IDENTIFYING PROCESS INEFFICIENCIES/CONFLICTS, AND COLLABORATING WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS TO DRIVE CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE GAPS;">
  • E NSURING FORECAST UPDATES ARE COMPLETED ACCURATELY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH PUBLISHED DEADLINES;">
  • E NSURING THE UNCONSTRAINED AND CONSTRAINED CONSENSUS INPUTS ARE ALIGNED WITH ESTABLISHED BUSINESS UNIT TARGETS AND OBJECTIVES;">
  • HIGHLIGHTING AND REVIEWING KEY CHANGES IN THE UNCONSTRAINED DEMAND FORECAST AND SUPPORTING ASSUMPTIONS;">
  • OPTIMIZING CONSTRAINED CONSENSUS ACROSS VARIOUS CONSTRAINTS AND PRIORITIES OF GLOBAL OPERATIONS, SALES, BUSINESS UNITS, CORPORATE STRATEGY, AND FINANCE;">
  • COLLABORATING WITH MICRON DEMAND PLANNERS, SALES AND OPERATIONS PLANNERS, AND BU STAKEHOLDERS TO UNDERSTAND DEMAND PRIORITIES, RISKS, AND OPPORTUNITIES, AND BUSINESS IMPACTS;">
  • SERVING AS THE SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT FOR FINAL INTERNAL PUBLICATION OF THE CONSTRAINED CONSENSUS FORECAST;">
  • REPRESENTING BUSINESS UNIT STRATEGIES AND OBJECTIVES TO FACILITATE SHAPING THE SUPPLY RESPONSE;">
  • LEAD OR PARTICIPATE IN REVIEWS OF THE OPERATIONS PLAN;">
  • COLLABORATING WITH DEMAND MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESSES UNITS TO UNDERSTAND DEMAND PRIORITIES CRAFTING RISKS OPPORTUNITIES AND BUSINESS IMPACTS;">
  • UNDERSTANDING INTERACTION OF SUPPLY CHAIN TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ASSOCIATED APPLICATIONS USED WITHIN MICRON (I.E LPI, SPO/CTM, RAPID RESPONSE CALM TABLEAU HANA APO-DP ETC.) AND COLLABORATING WITH PARTNERS IN SUPPLY CHAIN AND IT DRIVE TECHNOLOGY IMPROVEMENTS;">
  • PARTNERING WITH SOLUTIONS AND MASTER DATA TEAMS TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS CONTROL METHODS (AUDITS TRAINING METRICS REFERENCE MATERIAL ETC.)">

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, operations research, or supply chain management;">
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations planning, supply chain management, or a related field;">
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels;">
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with supply chain management software;">
  • A strong understanding of business processes, including operations planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain management;">
  • A passion for process improvement and continuous learning.">

What We Offer

Micron offers a competitive salary range of RM80,000 - RM120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
