Job Summary:
Futurerecruit is seeking a highly experienced Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tax plans to improve cash flow and net income.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax plans to improve cash flow and net income
- Provide technical support for financial reporting and accounting teams
- Interact with external auditors and advisors on tax planning, transfer pricing, and accounting issues
- Stay up-to-date on tax legislation and communicate implications to management
- Support VAT efforts and ensure accurate tax accounting and disclosure
- Play a lead role in tax-related SEC reporting and disclosures
- Develop tax accounting procedures and establish controls
- Monitor changes in tax laws and communicate tax accounting impact
- Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
- Coordinate with Treasury to ensure tax-efficient cash management
- Develop tax talent and ensure individual objectives align with business objectives
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of progressively more responsible tax assignments
- Multinational experience and Big 4 experience a plus
- Undergraduate degree in accounting with a concentration in tax desired
- Knowledge of tax, SEC rules, and regulations, as well as international tax rules and practices
- Strong research skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Advanced degree or certification desirable
- Track record of achieving measurable tax objectives
- Change management experience and interpersonal skills
