Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Provide feedback to direct reports to raise awareness of strengths and opportunities, communicate and clarify roles and responsibilities expectations for each member of the team, and ensure team members understand their career paths and partner with them to identify opportunities to grow and achieve career goals.
- Project Management: Ensure team performance is meeting or exceeding stated KPIs from IT leadership, administer annual performance reviews based on consistent candid feedback, and manage indirect resources assigned to project tasks including consulting resources.
- Application Ownership: Ensure effective management of all aspects (planning, implementation, support, budget, change management, etc.) of business applications in related areas, develop and execute any IT general controls processes aligned to application ownership, and understand to ensure alignment of IT projects in related areas.
- Business Engagement: Understand the business needs and ensure that IT projects align with those needs, develop and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, and communicate technical information to non-technical team members.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Systems, or other related area.
- Experience: 6 plus years of experience in IT management or a related field.
- Skills: Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office tools, experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, etc., excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and experience communicating technical information to non-technical team members.
- Proven Leadership: Proven leadership and project management experience preferred.
- Strong Understanding: Strong understanding of roles and responsibilities.
- Initiative: Ability to drive initiatives through multiple levels of business.
- Emotional Intelligence: Must possess emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Problem-Solving: Extensive problem-solving skills.
