As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for analyzing and rating infrastructure and project finance transactions in Latin America, with a focus on the transportation and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analysis of project finance transactions, including evaluating credit structures and identifying relevant trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior management of entities, project sponsors, investment bankers, and financial advisors.
- Produce high-quality ratings and reports for general publication, working closely with senior members of the team.
- Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to inform credit opinions.
- Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Public Administration.
- Proven experience in project finance and infrastructure credit, gained in a bank credit department, rating agency, buy-side credit department, infrastructure funds, or companies.
- Excellent modeling skills and familiarity with spreadsheet-based financial models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with Portuguese a plus.
