About the Role

Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Manager to lead our operations team in a distribution warehouse environment. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and coaching a team of Amazon Associates to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.
  • Lead a direct/indirect team to ensure a safe work place, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.
  • Support and assign job duties to process assistants.
  • Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.
  • Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.
  • Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
  • Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.

**Requirements**

  • Experience managing a team of 50+ employees.
  • Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma).
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
  • Industry experience in: manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, defense/aerospace, production, or distribution environments.
