About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Leader to join our global Digital organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving Digital transformation within the Finance function, leveraging your technical and leadership expertise to implement and support Finance capabilities and business processes using core platforms like SAP, Ariba, and Kyriba.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams during project planning, analysis, design, build, test, go live, and hyper care phases of project implementation.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with functional owners and CoE teams, using deep technical and process knowledge to drive engagement.
  • Manage external implementation partners, software vendors, and service providers, participating in the development of request for proposals/quotes and project proposals and statements of work.
  • Demonstrate broad project leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of immediate teams, and driving change.
  • Manage ongoing operations to ensure solutions are performing as expected and meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Drive innovation within the Finance function via business systems and process transformation.
  • Partner with vendors and system providers to assess platform capabilities and find opportunities for cost savings, productivity, process streamlining, simplification, and improved user experience.
  • Support the overall Carrier Transformation goals, including shared services enablement, global Treasury solutions, and process simplification/optimization across the board.
  • Develop peer, cross-functional relationships to leverage best practices, maximize solution quality, and drive user adoption.
Requirements

Language skills:

  • Adequate written and spoken English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations across global teams.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in IT - Business Systems roles OR Post graduate Degree with 3+ years of experience in IT - Business Systems roles.
  • 2+ years' experience with SAP S/4 HANA Finance is required.

Travel availability:

  • 20% of the time.

Additional skills & experience:

  • Proven track record and experience managing and supporting Finance in demanding multi-entity environments with complex systems and projects.
  • Strong track record of driving results through action-oriented thinking and innovative problem-solving, aligning with organizational strategy.
  • Proven practical experience in implementing ERP systems, particularly SAP, with additional knowledge of other corporate systems like Ariba, TMS, or similar.
  • Ability to own difficult decisions, ensuring timely actions that align with business's critical priorities.
  • Solid knowledge of modern software development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, DevOps or similar), combined with the ability to translate them into successful SAP implementation strategies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and internal drive, able to thrive in situations with ambiguous or incomplete information.
  • Strong relationship builder and influencer, able to mediate opposing viewpoints and work well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience working with decision makers in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to drive clear communication and powerful presentations with key business partners, including senior executives.

Preferred:

  • Experience with other solutions like SAP MDG, Ariba, Concur, and/or Kyriba, etc.
  • Central Finance experience.
  • Agile methodologies certification (PMI-ACP, AgilePM, SPS, CSM, PSM, PSPO, etc.).
  • Country Roll outs, Upgrade, Transformation experience.
