Senior Director, Software Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Software Engineering to lead our team in Mexico City. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in building and leading a team of software engineers focused on delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of 50-70 software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Recruit and staff a high-quality software engineering organization.
  • Provide thought leadership on software delivery, cloud governance, and well-managed experiences.
  • Promote innovation and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Deploy applications into AWS environments.
  • Support continuous improvement processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in data and software engineering.
  • At least 5 years of executive technology leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with public cloud technologies.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in a STEM field.
  • 7+ years of experience with cloud architecture, DevOps technologies, and software design patterns.
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience in financial services.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
