Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer for Digital Silicon to join our team at North American Production Sharing. As a key member of our Product Development and Test Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test solutions for our leading-edge IPs in the advanced FinFET semiconductor process technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to validate and debug new product functionality
  • Develop and implement test hardware and software solutions for high-volume production
  • Characterize and release cost-effective production test solutions for mass manufacturing
  • Collaborate with IC Design, Software, Systems, and Operations engineering teams to ensure seamless product development and deployment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Experience with circuit design, hardware engineering, and hardware design (schematic capture and circuit simulation)
  • 1 year of experience in product development, test validation, and high-volume production activities related to System on Chip (SOC) - Compute, Data Center, Mobile, Automotive, IoT areas
  • Knowledge of VLSI technologies, digital design, CPU architecture, and semiconductor process
  • Domain expertise in one or more areas such as CPU, Logic Test (ATPG), Memory, High Speed Serdes, Sensor validation, and test methodologies
  • Experience with measurement test equipment (oscilloscope, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, time interval analyzer, logic analyzer, network analyzer, ATE, Rohde & Schwarz)
  • Programming skills in Python, C++, Java, Assembly, or Embedded SW
  • Design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis software (JMP, National Instruments, Exensio, etc.)
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment: Advantest or Teradyne
  • Familiarity with ARM, Arduino, Microcontroller architecture
  • 2+ years' experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • Experience with Python, C++, Java, Assembly, or Embedded SW
  • Design for test (DFT) techniques and structural tests such as Scan/ATPG, JTAG, and memory BIST
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis software (JMP, National Instruments, Exensio, etc.)
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment: Advantest or Teradyne
  • Familiarity with ARM, Arduino, Microcontroller architecture
Working Conditions
  • Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to 1⁄2 mile
  • Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs
  • Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting)
  • Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day
  • Continuous communication with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely
