Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Collections Expert to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the collection process, implementing actions and controls to ensure productivity, quality, and the fulfillment of financial obligations. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter all uncollected items into the tracking system.
  • Contact relevant parties via phone calls, being persistent in calling and contacting debtors.
  • Monitor and act on collections.
  • Inform debtors of their payment status and timeline for repayment.
  • Research companies and corporate entities to follow up on payments.
  • Address questions regarding each collection case.
  • Secure payment, monitor, and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Update and review all collections and keep records up to date.
  • Process Requested Refunds.
  • Organize work in a structured and well-planned manner.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Degree is required. Having studies in International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or any related field is a plus.
  • Experience: 1+ year working in invoicing, preparing reports, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, and collections.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of databases, or financial software is a plus. Finance and business knowledge preferred.
  • Language: Advanced English skills. B2+ or higher is required.

Perks

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (CST, CDMX Time Zone).
  • Contract: Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
  • Location: Only for Mexico. Desirable in Mexico City.
  • Salary: 18,000MXN to 26,000MXN depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18, $26,000.00 per month
