We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Operations Specialist to join our Procure to Pay team at Samsara. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day order management and support for our procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage purchase requests and complete supplier setups in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Create and amend Purchase Orders in our procurement software.
- Partner with Accounts Payable to streamline the Procure to Pay process and ensure audit compliance.
- Drive the adoption of our procurement solutions and processes, and assist in financial control testing when needed.
- Develop deep knowledge of business needs and recommend continuous improvement around procurement processes and systems.
- Manage and maintain relationships between internal customers and vendors, focusing on growing positive relationships with our suppliers.
- Build and maintain the Procure to Pay dashboard and metrics.
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent internal relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner with other parts of the organization.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with financial and procurement systems such as Netsuite, Oracle iProcurement, ZipHQ, or Coupa.
- BA/BS degree or related work experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience working at a publicly traded company.
