About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of financial records, driving efficiency in accounting processes, and supporting key financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Deliver month-end close activities for multiple medium and high-risk entities, including manufacturing and non-manufacturing entities.
  2. Monthly Reporting Processes: Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Financial Scheduling: Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly corporate schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to defined policies and work procedures, identifying and mitigating financial risks.
  5. Account Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely account reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies or variances.
  6. External and Internal Audits: Support external and internal audits, responding to queries and providing necessary documentation.
  7. Intercompany Billing and Payroll Accounting: Manage intercompany billing and payroll accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Requirements
  1. Accounting Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. Finance Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with a strong background in accounting and financial analysis.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and other large ERP systems, with a strong understanding of reconciliation techniques and financial modeling.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Qualifications
  1. Audit Experience: Previous experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  3. Leadership Skills: Proactive and able to take the lead in devising creative solutions to financial challenges.
