Job Description

Company Overview:

DiDi Global Inc. is a leading mobility technology company that offers a wide range of app-based services across various markets, including ride-hailing, taxi-hailing, chauffeur services, and other forms of shared mobility. The company provides car owners, drivers, and delivery partners with flexible work and income opportunities.

Team Overview:

As a member of the Central Policy team, you will support regional Government Affairs and Communications colleagues with materials and advice, including policy notes, talking points, and leave-behinds. You will track international debates and developments on key topics, research policy trends, and develop arguments and evidence to support DiDi's advocacy efforts.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Research policy trends for international benchmarks and regulations in different countries, including those where DiDi does not operate.
  • Investigate and employ publicly available data to support talking points and advocacy arguments.
  • Organize, visualize, and present internal data to facilitate its effective use by local teams.
  • Prepare policy notes on the latest regulatory news to share with the wider EA team.
  • Develop presentations to visualize DiDi's policy positions and investigation results in an innovative way.
  • Provide support in developing effective infrastructure and processes for the EA team.

Role Qualifications:

  • Student of Economics, Political Science, Social Science, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistical programs (desirable).
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently.
  • Basic capabilities in literature research, strong writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong interest in topics related to the digital economy, technology access, or the gig economy.
  • Good self-driving ability and an organized workflow or task planner.
  • Previous experience in a Tech company or Policy role (desirable).
