Sgi Global Llc seeks a skilled Police Professionalization Specialist to support the Department of State in Mexico City. This position requires professional and administrative support services to work with the U.S. Foreign Assistance Program to Mexico.

Responsibilities:

The position is located in Mexico City. Travel to other locations in Mexico, the United States, and other countries may be required.

  • Assists and advises INL's Program Officers on assessing, planning, monitoring police professionalization and capacity-building projects for prosecutors, analysts, investigators, and/or police.
  • Collaborates with law enforcement agencies to create effective public safety strategies.
  • Advises INL staff on the development, implementation, evaluation, and enhancement of police professionalization and capacity-building projects.
  • Coordinates the implementation of police professionalization and capacity-building projects for police.

Qualifications:

A Mexican Citizen or Third Country National. Spanish FSI level 4/4, English FSI level 3/3, Bachelor's degree in international relations, law enforcement, public policy, criminal justice, social sciences, or related field, or associate degree with five (5) years related experience in Mexican law enforcement preferably the police.
