Job Description

The Billing Dispute Specialist I works directly with customers, internal employees, and carrier partners to answer questions and resolve issues. This role involves providing detailed explanations to customers regarding discrepancies, suggesting solutions, and working with them to obtain required documents for dispute submission.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and resolving billing related inquiries and discrepancies
  • Providing detailed explanations to customers regarding discrepancies, suggestions/solutions
  • Submitting disputes to carrier partners for resolution
  • Maintaining follow-up with both carrier and customer until resolution is met

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities include:

  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and processes
  • Comfortable managing workload independently and effectively
