Job Summary:

The Laundry Processing Specialist will be responsible for operating and monitoring washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to identify stained or damaged items and determine their status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
  • Identify and address stained or damaged items
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of articles
  • Set dryers to designated times and temperatures
  • Remove lint and debris from machinery
  • Maintain accurate records of items laundered

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
