As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement plan that drives business growth, improves efficiency, and reduces costs.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement a procurement strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and ensures the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Commodity Management: Manage a portfolio of 9 commodities with a spend of over $180M, ensuring that procurement processes meet company and quality standards.
- Purchasing Process Oversight: Oversee purchasing processes related to direct components, materials, and services for manufacturing operations, ensuring that suppliers meet key performance objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 8 tactical buyers in multiple locations and countries, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of procurement strategies.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they meet company performance and growth expectations.
- Operations Support: Provide operational support to production management, ensuring the expeditious delivery of critical materials and driving improvement initiatives.
- Cost and Contracting: Support annual cost reductions and lead the implementation of business and quality agreements to secure expectations for delivery, quality, and cost.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Materials / Procurement, with at least 3+ years as a Sr Procurement Manager or Director of Procurement.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, results-oriented, and excellent problem-solving abilities. Fully bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
