Key Responsibilities
As a Piping Inspector, you will:
- Conduct critical inspections to assess and resolve complex quality issues, often collaborating with engineering teams.
- Perform quality assessments through both destructive and non-destructive testing methods to identify non-conformance and determine the root causes of defects.
- Analyze intricate cases of non-conformance, tracing their origins and ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
- Interpret detailed blueprints and specifications, including those from clients and suppliers.
- Support production during the initiation of new fabrication processes and authorize the start of manufacturing.
- Calibrate inspection instruments according to established standards and prepare them for quality assessments.
- Provide training and guidance to fellow inspectors as needed.
About You
We are eager to connect with candidates who meet the following essential qualifications:
- Experience in EPC projects within the Oil and Gas sector, particularly in plant construction and petrochemical projects.
- Relevant certification or technical background.
- Moderate experience in inspections and handling non-conformities.
- Certification as AWS – CWI or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Background in Welding and Non-Destructive Testing, along with relevant qualifications.
- Proficiency in English.
