About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Master Data Specialist to join our team at the KION Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the configuration changes and enhancements of our SAP Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement core functionalities of SAP MD, including screen controls.
  • Work on roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality within the SAP MD and PLM space.
  • Responsible for successful implementation of SAP MD, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of technical master data processes in SAP, mainly: Material Master, Bill of Materials, Documents, Classification, and Engineering Changes.
  • Supporting the interfaces to other SAP systems (ALE, RFC) and Team Center (PLMSI).
  • Facilitate the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MD to enhance the clients' business functionality and performance.
  • Configure the SAP system in the areas of MD to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions.
  • Participate in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives, and seek alignment.
  • Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design.
  • Analyze and develop functional specifications and communicate to technical developers to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way.
  • Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
  • Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP MD or similar SAP modules is a must.
  • Experience working in S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Strong functional knowledge on the SAP ERP MD, and overall SAP functional knowledge (integration with other components / modules SD, PP, MM) required.
  • Experience on data migration would be helpful.
  • Good knowledge of principle MD objects (Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Bill of Materials, Documents, Classification, Classes, and Characteristics) and their processes.
  • Experience in data migration templates, extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.
  • Experience in working with global teams, including Cross Business and Processes.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining ALE and IDOC Scenarios.
  • Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
  • Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
